Suffolk Healers Association will be running a 12-session, 36-hour Foundation Course,in Thetford from 12th April 2010.  The Course Cost is £90.  The Course has been designed to follow current teaching methods so that, at the end of the Course, the student will have a portfolio of work and a Certificate of Attendance.  The Course is part of the two-year Probationer training but is open to all who seek awareness.  The course contains both practical and written material.  Each student will be provided with worksheets and a document wallet.

The course modules include: The Code of Conduct (the healers handbook of good practice), The History of Healing (a brief look at the development and issues of healing), Subtle Energies(a basic study of the power of thought, healing energy, the aura, and charkas), Relaxation and Breathing (learning and practising techniques), Visualisation and Meditation (in the healing envioronment), Anatomy and Physiology (a very basic study of the human body and its structures), Contact and Distant Healing (preparing for and practising the healing act in both private and public envioronments), Listening Skills (to incorporate loss and bereavement), Professional & Record Keeping(database, insurance and other legal issues).
